So out of guilt, or a desire to jump-start our new resolve to behave healthier, we try a detox.
And we feel great!
But it’s a placebo effect.
These detoxes and cleanses tend to focus on the foods that we already know that we should be eating.
And they force us to stay away from processed convenience foods and junk snacks.
All of this automatically makes our bodies feel better and helps our processes run better.
It’s not that the cleanse is effective, it’s that you’ve finally balanced your diet and eliminated junk food.
So you can save your money and skip that latest fad detox plan… just balance your diet and get the same results.
