A Study done by David Dobbs of the renowned National Geographic supports this idea.
The study showed that the mutant gene results in people who are “more likely to take risks; explore new places, ideas, foods, relationships, drugs, or sexual opportunities.”
He also found that people with this gene, “generally embrace movement, change, and adventure.”
When populations that are more inclined to stay in one place are compared to populations that have a history of relocating, the Wanderlust gene happens more often.
