The vapor that is emitted from an e-cig is actually an aerosol.
While it’s true that a lot of the toxins found in cigarettes are at up to 95% lower levels in this aerosol, they are not eliminated.
And a great deal of these are not only inhaled by the person vaping, but also by anyone standing nearby or in the same room.
Even at the drastically reduced level, there are enough of these toxins to still be considered highly harmful.
What’s more, e-cigarettes have been found to give off toxins that real cigarettes don’t have much of.
These include metals such as nickel, zinc, tin, and silver.
Some of these metals and others that are emitted are extremely toxic even at levels lower than what the e-cigs emit.
