Here’s the breakthrough study that shows diabetes may be reversible
In this study (Diabetologia Volume 54, Issue 10, pp 2506-2514) they used MRI imaging, and they measured blood sugar and cholesterol levels, in the pancreas and the liver.
They found that the fat deposits in the pancreas and liver had gone away.
Blood sugar was normal after about a week.
Triglycerides had dropped in half within one week, and reduced tenfold in eight weeks.
Within eight weeks, all evidence of diabetes was gone and the diabetic patients were just like normal people who had never had diabetes.
