The moral of the story is that when we’re feeling restless, we shouldn’t start looking for something to buy.
A better idea would be if we were to take the money that we’d use to buy more things and funnel it into a vacation.
Or take a day trip with a friend to a local attraction.
The memories of the new experience and time with people who are important to us is far more satisfying in the long run.
And you can take pictures with that shiny new phone you just bought.
