It shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that your coffee can do you some good.
Beyond caffeine, coffee contains essential nutrients, and it’s incredibly high in antioxidants.
And as we know, antioxidants help to fight off a host of diseases and help to prevent cancer.
Your typical 8 oz. cup of coffee contains 11% of the Riboflavin, 6% of the Vitamin B5, 2% of the Thiamin, and 2% of the niacin recommended daily allowance (RDA), and that’s just the B vitamins!
It also contains significant amounts of Folate, Manganese, Potassium, Magnesium, and Phosphorus.
These seem like small percentages of the RDA, but if you figure that most of us drink at least 2 or 3 cups of coffee per day, then you’re starting off running on your daily nutrition!
